We are excited to share the past month's release highlights, upcoming releases and features, and content highlights of September 2020.

  1. [Knox Service Plugin] Support for WPCOD for forthcoming Knox 3.7 and Android 11
  2. [Knox Service Plugin] PTT Hardware key remapping enhancements for XCover Pro
  3. [Knox Manage] Samsung Knox Manage v20.8 was released on Aug. 27, 2020; release note available here; Knox Service Plugin zero-day support being the main highlight
  4. [Knox Manage] Knox Manage Latest EMM agent version:
    • Android: 20.8 (2.3.3.04)
    • iOS: 20.06
  5. [Knox Mobile Enrollment and Knox Configure] Supported EMM lists updated
  6. [Knox Service Plugin] Update 1.34 released on Sept.16, 2020 (Knox Configure, Knox Mobile Enrollment, Knox Deployment Program, Knox Managed Service Provider, Knox E-FOTA Advanced)
  7. [E-FOTA Advanced] End of Sales effective 17:00 (KST) Oct. 30, 2020
  8. [Knox E-FOTA on Mobile device management] End of Sales and Service announced
  9. [Knox Suite & Enterprise Edition] Enterprise Edition devices to have Knox Suite as the Software bundle was released successfully. Existing software bundle of Knox Configure & Knox E-FOTA on Mobile device management will still be an option. More information in the following blog post

  • Some features on fully managed device area are not available
  • Knox Manage will provide device command for DO migration customers

Precise device management

  • Limited enrollment by device model name and OS version is available

Geo-fencing Enhancement

  • When the device is out of coverage, event policies are applied
  • 'Lock device’ option is also available on geo-fencing event
